Why do I care what is in the package?

Today more and more people are looking for ways to create a healthy environment in which to live. From exercise to "what's in the package".  We are inundated with information on what is good for us and what will have a lasting affect later down the road.

So you ask yourself, how do I choose?  Who do I listen to? Are there really experts out there that will give us honest information only because they care, and it is not a "what's in it for me", approach.
That old adage, people will listen to you when they know you are sincere and care about you.  With this I want to make some comments about why we should be concerned about "what is in the package".

Today when shopping in your favorite store, take the time to read the label.  The less ingredients on the label, the purer the product.   If you see words you do not understand, much less be able to pronounce, chances are it is something you should put down.

I love my Whole Foods Co-op.  A business dedicated to bringing healthy food right from the garden.
For the longest time, I would stand at the meat counter in the big box stores and wonder, where did this come from, did anyone really care about the food it was fed.  I left thinking NO.
Today, fish, vegetables and fruit have become my main staples. When I took out the carbs and sugar, my body told me I had done the right thing.  I slept better, did not have indigestion, and just over all felt great!  It was so telling for me.

When I find myself craving something that I know my body really does not want me to have, I ask myself , how much longer do you want to live and what am I doing to achieve this goal.  So I am on a mission, to exercise more, eat the right foods, get a good night sleep, avoid stress whenever possible, and spend time with positive people.

Yes there are times when I eat sweets, and carbs, however, they are few and far between.  The one thing I love about what I have done for myself is I hope to have more time with the people I care about deeply.  My family and friends.

So here is to your health.  Feel free to send me a comment or ask a question.  I will direct you to great and honest information.

Make it a great day & live your life with passion!
